Selected project list (under construction). Projects are supported by IBPT, director Prof. Dr. A.-S. Müller, with KIT being a beneficiary/executing body. If KIT is coordinating the project this is indicated by [C]. For large-scale projects, the startdate is given as the date on which funds are unlocked. The enddate is given when all deliveries of suppliers, acceptance and documentation is expected to be completed. This enddate might be extended due to warranty and bank guarantee agreements. Typically, it takes 6 to 12 months from the startdate before first acquisitions of equipment or infrastructure building measures can be initiated. Project names may be further used to denote the infrastructure. The following, typically three-year to four-year projects include third-party funded projects via BMBF, DFG, EC/EU and the Helmholtz Initiative and Networking Fund (Strategie/Impuls- und Vernetzungsfonds (HGF IVF)).
