Inauguration of FLUTE
The inauguration of FLUTE took place on 13 July 2017.
History
With the new Test Facility FLUTE (Ferninfrarot Linac- Und Test Experiment), a far-infrared linac and test experiment, we will be able to generate just a few femtoseconds short electron bunches and study the characteristics of ultra-intense coherent THz pulses. The facility will be the new tool for accelerator physics studies and applications in engineering sciences.
It is our pleasure to invite you and celebrate together with us
