- Laser plasma accelerator group established at KIT IBPT
- 2023/09: Arrival of Prof. M. Fuchs, a laser plasma acceleration expert, and 4 PhD students from the USA
- Terawatt laser system
- 2022/12: Start of the site acceptance test (SAT) procedures at KIT IBPT.
- 2022/05: Terawatt laser delivered to KIT IBPT and set-up of system started.
- 2022/04: Factory acceptance test (FAT) performed at Amplitude Technology, Lisses, France.
Selected values reached during FAT: > 1.6 J, > 16 W, < 23 fs, > 70 TW, (800 +/- 50) nm, 10 Hz. - 2022/02: Technical design report (TDR) finalized.
